Medicine Bow National Forest, August 2005 : Mike and I rode 620 miles of single-track, double-track and fire roads in early August, 2005. Base camp was Centennial, Wyoming, 30 miles west of Laramie on WY Hwy 130. The photos give you a pretty good idea of the diverse terrain in the MBNF. They don't show a lot of the steep, loose trails, because we were in survival mode, not snapshot mode. The Medicine Bow is prime dual sport country. We saw nary a soul.
